Welcome to the Friends of the Rotunda's Website. The Friends is the official fundraising arm and registered Charity (CHY240) of the Rotunda Hospital. Established in 1971, the Friends' Organisation was set up to raise funds to finance essential Research being undertaken by the Rotunda. Through its highly committed team of Volunteers and Staff, it also supports Voluntary Social Welfare Work and continually strives to improve amenities for Patients.

The Friends relies upon the on-going generosity of its Membership and Sponsors and Donations are greatly appreciated. This vital income allows the organisation to sustain a steady growth and ensures that it is able to fulfil its key objectives.

The Friends of the Rotunda is dedicated to provide long-term investment in support of the Rotunda's Research Programme. Positive outcomes from Rotunda Research have already had a tremendous impact upon the Hospital's Practice and Procedures and will continue to have a lasting effect on the future lives and welfare of Mothers and their Babies.
